Our biggest goal here was to embody the music through dance and videography. To echo the circular nature of the music, we choreographed on a track. The drone footage compliments the vast sounding aspects of the song as well. Once we finished the editing process, it still didn’t feel done. We reversed it, music and all, and it finally felt right to shout, “Eureeka!” I had the pleasure of choreographing, dancing in, and editing this, and Todd Tankersley was our videographer.
The goal here was to follow one subject in a single-shot short film. I decided that instead of a person, my subject would be a coat. Not just any coat… a funky coat. With some sort of dance-inducing powers. In addition to directing, filming, and editing, I decided to challenge myself and make the music for this project using Garageband.
